  1. The patch for 23.0.102 is either not working, or I’m using it incorrectly, I’m double-clicking the application, I listen to the music for a bit, but the program is still launching with a trial period registered to it. Any solutions?

    • after installation, close the program if opened, then open the mpt patch (x32 or x64 on the basis of your os type)
click on the skull button in patch
      done

  2. Had the exact same problem with 23.0.102 and 103, x32 versions. Have been using the MPT patch for ages on many releases of JRiver 16-bit; no problems until right now. Looking at the MPT patch log, it was unable to find the expected patterns in ‘Media Center 23.exe’ and ‘JRTools.dll’ and thus couldn’t apply the patches. Something has changed in these latest two versions, because the patch worked fine in every prior version of 23.0.x.

However, I just installed the x64 version, and the x64 MPT patch works perfectly. I needed to migrate to x64 anyway, so problem solved (at least for me).
