Normally after installation you’ll also need to create a rule to block the outbound Internet traffic of ShdCmd.exe. You can add Windows Firewall rules or add rules to other Internet Firewall products.
Or maybe also the shdserv.exe, but I am not sure whether it will break some functionality.
If you are already seeing “license authentication failed. You maybe a victim of software counterfeiting” try open a terminal with admin privilege and execute the following command:
Shdcmd.exe /chkactivate
